Stormwater
Stormwater is snow melt or rain
that does not percolate into the
ground, but instead, runs off
the surface of the ground into
water bodies. As water
flows over lawns, fields, roofs,
or bare soil, it picks up
pollutants and carries them to
water bodies. Adverse
effects include flooding,
erosion, and contamination.

aquatic pollution via
