Volunteer Invasive Plant Management Program
Last summer,
volunteers and HCSWCD staff dedicated over 121 hours to managing invasive
plant stands.

family de-headed Purple Loosestrife in Lake
Pleasant, Speculator, and
Wells.
Are YOU interested in helping to Stop the Invaders? Contact our
office at
518-548-3991 to become a
volunteer for the 2009 management
season. You will receive training on how do manage for Purple
Loosestrife and/or Japanese Knotweed. Manage plants in your area, or
give us a hand throughout Hamilton
County. Transportation and equipment provided. Invasive plant
management is a great way to gain community service hours!
