2010 Arbor Day Poetry Contest
Arbor Day is a
national holiday that celebrates
the planting and care of trees.
The Hamilton County SWCD is
holding its Second Annual Arbor
Day Poetry Contest for 7th and
8th grade students. Haiku
poems relating to the theme
Trees in Nature must be
submitted by mail or fax to the
HCSWCD by Friday, April 16,
2010. Certificates will be
awarded to all participants and
prizes will be awarded for
first, second, and third place
winners.
