Mission
Our mission is to maintain and restore the quality and quantity of
water resources in Hamilton County using a coordinated,
comprehensive,
and educational interagency approach.
Water Quality Strategy
As determined by the
Committee members, protecting Hamilton County’s waters is the
highest priority. Education, monitoring and management of invasive
species have become recent initiatives for the Committee. Sediment
and erosion control continues to be a concern and funding has been
sought to plan, design and implement projects on priority streams.
Numerous other programs and projects by partners and their
associations are focused on goals identified in the Strategy.
